Super New moon in Pisces

Hi friends,

If you’ve been feeling a bit more dreamy and inspired lately, even while the world feels like it’s speeding up all around you, congratulations you’re feeling the energies of the New Moon in Pisces on March 10th, 2024.

The Pisces new Moon brings us potent energies of belief in new beginnings, and of holding the vision of what’s possible. Yet with all the watery Pisces energy, there is also bound to be some emotional activation enmeshed with all the momentum this Super new Moon brings.

Also in case you were wondering, a Super new or Super full Moon, implies the proximity of the Moon to the Earth. During a Super Moon (either new or full) the Moon is almost as close as she can come to Earth within her elliptical orbit. This closest point within the orbit is also called the perigee. So when a new or full Moon occurs close to the perigee, then we have a Super lunation. The Moon also appears slightly larger in the sky, when viewed here on Earth, due to this closer proximity.

Now back to the emo, yet momentum building, energies of this Pisces new Moon…

PISCES’ VISION

As the mutable Water sign, Pisces energy most closely mirrors the adaptability and flexibility of the Water element. This adaptability encourages more self-trust, as we gain confidence and capability flowing and evolving with life’s infinite changes. So if the world feels like it’s moving too fast around you during this lunation, imagine yourself just surrendering to the flow. See yourself floating on your back with the current, carried along gently like in a lazy river at a water park.

Pisces energy is also highly intuitive (like all Water signs), imaginative and dreamy. We can use the dreamy imaginative Piscean energy to escape and avoid reality, which is a shadow aspect of Pisces, or we can choose to use this energy for powerful manifestation practices. We can use Pisces’s ability to create worlds within the mind, to visualize a life and world of our choosing.

Pisces’ ability to imagine and feel provides this lunation with powerful manifestation opportunities. By pairing the clarity of our vision with the felt sense of having this vision, enhanced by Piscean imagination & sensitivity, we anchor into and hold the vibration of this vision. By then taking consistent aligned actions toward this vision, we actively become the co-creators in our own lives.

I’m going to emphasize the co in co-creators because Pisces’ visionary energy also understands that while we are meant to create, we are also meant to flow with Creation itself. Pisces energy gets that creating is not about controlling, but about harmonizing and “playing” with what is. In fact, it’s best we release the illusion of control at all, this new Moon reminds us, especially as it’s the last lunation before Eclipse season, the season that reminds us how little control we truly have.

Yes friends Eclipse season is coming again at the end of the month with our next full Moon in Libra but more on that in a few weeks’ time…

FORWARD MOMENTUM

All the major celestial bodies are direct during this Pisces new Moon, encouraging a greater sense of forward moving momentum. The Moon is also moving away from systems loving Saturn, toward the planet of dreams and collective consciousness, Neptune. This influences a greater sense of faith and belief in what is possible (Neptune), grounded in reality and responsibility (Saturn).

We may be feeling this momentum around us in overwhelming ways, especially with the enhanced sensitivity of Pisces season. So I encourage creating some more space for stillness and meditation (in whatever way that looks to you) on or around this new Moon.

This is also a great New Moon for manifestation rituals that include visualization of any kind, whether that be vision boards, guided visualizations, or scripting (writing) out a day in your dream life. Then find some way to seal the belief of this vision into your felt body, through dance, walking, swimming or stretching, etc.

The Pisces new Moon encourages us to hold the vision of our own co-creative abilities, especially as we had into the surrendering of Eclipse season.

May this Pisces new Moon help us commit to our new beginnings and find belief in our higher visions.

Pisces New Moon

Hi friends,

There will be a Mars/Uranus square leading into this New Moon.
So we have Mars the planet of aggression/energy squaring Uranus the planet of disruption. On a collective this could show up as sudden or unexpected disruption.

This New Moon will also conjuct both Saturn and Neptune.
Let's start with Neptune first. Neptune will ask us to have empathy for ourselves and others.
Saturn comes in and will ask us to implement attention to where we need to have boundaries set up for care.
